Join us in making Mercy Ships Cargo Day 2022 an exceptional fundraising success as we welcome the new Global Mercy

This is a special year in Mercy Ships’ history as we introduce the world’s first purpose-built civilian hospital ship, the the 37,000-gt Global Mercy.

This is possible due to the enormous generosity of financial supporters, especially those in the international shipping and trading community.

Since its conception, shipping-related companies offered their supervision and broking skills, not only in making the dream of the Global Mercy ship come true, but continue offering contributions through the annual Cargo Day fundraiser.

Last year’s event raised almost $800,000! This has resulted in total donations of nearly $5 million since the launch of Mercy Ships Cargo Day in 2016.

More than 80 of the world’s leading charterers, shipowners, brokers, port agents and consulting firms dedicate their commitment and participation.

Cargo Day functions thanks to the generosity of charterers who allocate “Mercy Cargoes” to brokers who then donate 50% of their commission.

Both tanker and dry cargo sectors represent their support.
